Job summary

Ogletree Deakins is seeking an Attorney Recruiting Coordinator or Senior Attorney Recruiting Coordinator to join our Recruiting & Retention team in California. The role supports Associate and Counsel searches across the firm’s offices, coordinating interviews and posting ads on job boards while assisting with firmwide recruiting initiatives.

The position requires 2+ years of recruiting in a high-volume environment, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ATS systems

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or community college.
• Experience in a high-volume work environment.
• Highly detail oriented with strong prioritization skills.
• Advanced experience with all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
• Some HR experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.
• ATS experience (e.g., iCIMS, VIRecruit) is a plus.
• Law firm experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interview scheduling with candidates, attorneys and hiring managers; gather availability and feedback.
• Maintain files, prepare correspondence, ensure data accuracy and update reports.
• Coordinate ongoing check-in calls with current attorneys to support engagement and retention.
• Respond to and route candidate inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Monitor recruitment metrics including diversity data and candidate submissions in the ATS.
• Respond to internal recruitment inquiries and other duties as assigned.
