Ramos Law seeks a Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney to manage cases from intake through settlement, ensuring timely and effective representation while maintaining compliance. You will investigate claims, develop strategies, negotiate settlements, and provide exceptional client service using a case management system.

Required: Juris Doctorate and AZ Bar admission, 1–4 years of PI-related experience, and strong skills in negotiation, research, and communication.

Qualificações

• Juris Doctorate required and must be admitted to the Arizona Bar.
• 1-4 years of experience in related practice areas.
• Solid understanding of Tort Law and core legal principles, familiarity with insurance claims processes and settlement negotiations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong client-facing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage pre-litigation cases from intake to settlement, including client onboarding and documentation.
• Evaluate and investigate cases by reviewing claims, gathering evidence, and preparing case plans.
• Communicate with clients, adjusters, providers, and witnesses to gather information and provide updates.
• Review medical records and supporting documentation to strengthen case valuation and negotiation strategies.
• Prepare and review legal documents such as claims, demand letters, motions, and subpoenas.
• Negotiate settlements with insurers and opposing parties to achieve favorable, cost-effective outcomes.
• Represent clients at mediations, depositions, hearings, and other proceedings as needed.
• Monitor case costs to ensure compliance with firm policies.
• Stay current on legislation and professional development.

JOB PURPOSEAs Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney, you'll manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement, ensuring timely and effective representation, and resolution. This includes investigating claims, developing strategies, negotiating settlements, and providing exceptional client service while maintaining compliance and leveraging a case management system.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESMore specifically, you’ll:Manage pre-litigation cases from intake to settlement, including client engagement, contracts, agreements, and documentation.Evaluate and investigate cases by reviewing claims, gathering evidence, analyzing liability and damages, and preparing case plans.Communicate with clients and stakeholders (adjusters, providers, witnesses) to gather information, build trust, and provide regular updates.Review and summarize medical records and other supporting documentation to strengthen case valuation and negotiation strategies.Prepare and review legal documents, such as claims, demand letters, motions, discovery responses, pleadings, subpoenas, and memorandums.Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing parties to achieve favorable, cost-effective outcomes.Provide legal guidance and representation at mediations, depositions, hearings, and other proceedings as needed.Monitor cost of cases to ensure compliance with firm policies and client agreements.Stay current on legislation and legal practices through ongoing training and professional development.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation/ExperienceJuris Doctorate degree with admission to the Bar in Arizona.1-4 years of experience in related areas of practice.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesSolid understanding of Tort Law and core legal principles, with familiarity in insurance claims processes and settlement negotiations.Experienced in drafting demand letters, settlement agreements, and other legal documentation, as well as reviewing claims and evidence.Skilled in managing cases from intake through settlement, including client onboarding, contract execution, and accurate documentation.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, supported by proficiency in legal research to evaluate claims and develop case strategies.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain legal processes and case status to clients.Skilled in negotiation and persuasion to achieve favorable settlements with insurance companies and opposing parties.Exceptional interpersonal skills for building trust and maintaining professional relationships with clients, adjusters, and medical providers.Proficient in using MS Office applications and case management software, with the ability to work in a paperless environment.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with personal injury cases.
