Job summary

The Intake Attorney will join Thomas J. Henry Law Pc in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, delivering stellar client service while upholding ethical standards. You will speak with potential clients to gather information about their legal matter and obtain authority from the managing attorney.

Key duties include conducting intake meetings, coordinating with firm managers, evaluating new clients, and escalating serious cases for senior review. JD required; no prior legal experience necessary.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school is required.
• No legal experience is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point).

Responsibilities

• Conduct Intake meeting with new clients.
• Communicate daily with firm managers and leaders using multiple mediums.
• Potential new client evaluation.
• Address/return all client calls by end of business day.
• Getting facts and reviewing with manager for authority to sign or escalate.
• Additional projects, as assigned.

Job Summary:

The Intake Attorney will deliver stellar client service to clients on behalf of Thomas J. Henry Law while adhering to the highest ethical standards of the legal profession. Speak with potential clients to gather necessary information about their legal matter and obtain authority from managing attorney.

Essential Job Functions:

• Conduct Intake meeting with new clients
• Communicate daily with firm’s managers and leaders using multiple mediums (ie. Email, written reports, one on one presentations, ect.)
• Potential new client evaluation
• Address/return all client calls by end of business day
• Getting facts and reviewing with manager for authority to sign, decline, further evaluate, as well as immediately escalating serious injury or death cases for Senior Attorney review.
• Additional projects, as assigned.
