Job summary

Location is Office of the Secretary in East Baton Rouge Parish. Appointment may be probationary, promotional, or temporary up to 48 months.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Louisiana license to practice law and three years of experience as a practicing attorney.

Responsibilities

• Provides legal counsel and guidance on matters involving the Economic Stability Program (SNAP, TANF, FITAP, Kinship Care, DDS).
• Advises program staff and leadership on legal issues related to administration and operation of assigned programs.
• Reviews, drafts, and provides legal guidance on contracts and related agreements supporting Economic Stability Program services and operations.
