Job summary

Responsibilities include conducting administrative hearings, evaluating records, managing appeals across program areas, performing legal research, and coordinating case workflows. Telework may be available part-time after probation; primary work is in Harrisburg.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional legal work including one year of trial work experience.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Responsibilities

• Conduct administrative hearings by examining witnesses, ruling on motions, and managing evidence.
• Review records, assess facts, and prepare adjudications and recommendations.
• Handle appeals across multiple program areas.
• Stay current on statutes, regulations, and policies and share guidance with staff.
• Track cases, issue orders, and ensure files and records meet required standards.
