We Are Legal Revolution seeks a Senior Employment Defense Attorney to lead California defense matters with a high degree of autonomy. You will develop litigation strategy, work directly with employer clients, and drive outcomes across inception to resolution.

The role offers significant ownership and a clear path to partnership. The position is fully remote with the option to be based in San Jose, California, and involves a typical senior associate/partner track, with opportunities to expand

Qualifications

• Active California Bar admission in good standing.
• 5–10+ years' legal experience in Employment Defense or related litigation.
• Strong research, writing, advocacy and litigation skills.
• Ability to manage matters with a high degree of autonomy.
• Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage California Employment Defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Develop litigation strategy and advise clients through the litigation process.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and other substantive filings.
• Handle written discovery, depositions, hearings and mediations.
• Take ownership of case strategy and day-to-day litigation management.
• Develop long-term client relationships and contribute to practice growth.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support team members.

NEW IN – Senior Employment Defense Attorney | 5–10+ Years | $200K–$300K DOE | Partnership Track | San Jose | Fully Remote

I'm currently working closely with the hiring team at a well-established, full-service law firm in San Jose that is continuing to grow its Employment Litigation practice. This is an opportunity for an experienced Employment Defense Attorney to take meaningful ownership of California matters, build direct client relationships and work toward partnership within an expanding practice.

The Role

• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the firm's Employment practice.
• Support and mentor junior attorneys where appropriate.

About You

• 5–10+ years' legal experience, with consideration for more experienced attorneys.
• Active California Bar admission in good standing.
• Experience managing matters with a high degree of autonomy.
• Strong legal research, writing, litigation and advocacy skills.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Stable employment history and demonstrated long-term career commitment.
• Strong academic and professional background.
• Plaintiff-side experience welcomed where meaningful Employment Defense experience is also present.

Location

• San Jose, California.

Package

• $200,000–$300,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Performance-based bonus opportunities.
• Approximately 1,800 annual billable hours.
