The role focuses on representing employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage/hour disputes, and class actions. Candidates should have 3+ years of litigation experience in Employment Defense and strong writing/advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation experience.
• Employment defense experience preferred.
• Strong legal writing and advocacy skills.
• Trial/mediation experience is a plus.
• Open to Associate to Partner-level candidates.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in complex employment disputes and litigation.
• Handle discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage/hour, and class actions.
• Manage matters from evaluation to settlement or trial.
• Draft and argue motions; manage discovery; take/defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations.

The Role:

• Represent employers and institutional clients in complex workplace disputes and employment-related litigation
• Handle matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, class actions and workplace investigations
• Independently manage litigation matters from initial evaluation through settlement or trial preparation
• Draft and argue substantive motions, manage written discovery and take and defend depositions
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations and settlement negotiations
• Develop litigation strategies and advise clients directly on employment disputes and legal exposure
• Collaborate with experienced Partners and contribute to the continued growth of the practice
• Mentor junior attorneys and develop client relationships as you progress into senior positions

What They're Looking For:

• Ideally 3+ years of litigation experience
• Employment Defense experience strongly preferred
• Strong legal writing, advocacy and case management skills
• Trial and mediation experience advantageous but not essential
• Open to Associate, Senior Attorney, Of Counsel and Partner-level candidates

Salary & Benefits:

• Base Salary: Up to $225,000 depending on experience and seniority
• Quarterly Bonuses – Performance-based earning opportunities
• Billable Expectation: Approximately 1,950 hours annually
