Job summary

Orion Placement in West Hollywood, CA seeks an attorney with 1+ year of employment law experience and an active California State Bar license to represent employees in a range of workplace disputes. The role involves drafting pleadings, motions and discovery, plus depositions, mediations and trials.

You will collaborate with senior attorneys, build case strategy, and advise clients on their rights. A hybrid schedule and meaningful litigation exposure are offered.

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar membership in good standing.
• 1+ year of employment law experience.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Strong legal research, writing, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and client service skills.
• Employment litigation experience involving depositions, motion practice, or trial preparation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent employees in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, wrongful termination, and related employment matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and help develop case strategy.
• Participate in and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide clear guidance regarding their workplace rights.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff throughout all stages of litigation.
• Manage deadlines and case responsibilities with strong attention to detail.
• Contribute to individual, class action, and other complex employment matters.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
