Job summary

Cipriani & Werner P.C. in Pittsburgh seeks a General Liability Attorney to join our growing team. This role requires five to seven years of insurance defense experience and a JD from an ABA-approved law school with an active PA license.

Hybrid work arrangement; responsibilities include evaluating files, client communications, discovery, motions, and trial work within a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a JD from an ABA-approved law school.
• Maintain an active license in good standing in Pennsylvania.
• 5–7 years of insurance defense experience required; insurance coverage background and trial experience preferred.
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability preferred.

The Pittsburgh Office in Mt. Lebanon, PA is looking for a General Liability Attorney to join our growing team.

• Evaluate new files.
• Client communications.
• Discovery production.
• Research and prepare legal memoranda on various areas of law.
• Prepare and argue discovery.
• Substantive, dispositive pre- and post-trial motions and appeals.
• Attend pretrial listings.
• Motions and trial.

Position Requirements:

• Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an active license in good standing in Pennsylvania.
• 5-7 years of insurance defense experience required; insurance coverage background and trial experience preferred.
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
• Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.
