Job description

SBH Health System – St. Barnabas Hospital is a 400 + bed Acute Care Hospital and Trauma Center located in south-central Bronx, New York. SBH is also an academic health system affiliated with the CUNY School of Medicine and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, supporting two Federally Qualified Health Centers and two faculty practice sites. Our health team is committed to delivering high quality care to an underserved population, mentoring residents, and medical students, leading quality improvement initiatives and conducting research.

The Pediatrics – Neonatology Division is seeking to hire a full-time Neonatologist available to start immediate work.

We are a Level III NICU center, caring for premature infants with critical illnesses at all gestational ages. Our NICU offers prompt and readily available access to a full range of pediatric medical subspecialties, including a full range of respiratory support and advanced imaging services. We are home to a fully accredited ACGME Pediatric Residency Program.

The Division of Neonatology includes the Well Baby Nursery and NICU. The Division has four (4) full-time Neonatologists on staff, who can provide 24 hour attending coverage.

Requirements:

Fellowship in Neonatology Required. Faculty Appointment to CUNY School of Medicine conferred. Active New York State Physician license and additional training certifications.
