$230,000.00/yr - $245,750.00/yr

Position Details

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Neonatologist at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Lincoln is a Level III Perinatal Center, handling high-risk newborns requiring immediate care. Located 15 minutes from NYC, it is affiliated with Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze and interpret diagnostic data and imaging studies.
2. Develop and implement treatment plans.
3. Provide education and support to parents on infant and child development.
4. Perform newborn exams and medical evaluations.
5. Review hospital policies and revise treatment plans as needed.
6. Advise parents on evaluation results.
7. Specialize in neonatal conditions.
8. Perform neonatal resuscitation, including intubation and ventilator management.
9. Manage patient care plans and medical records.
10. Lead staff meetings and instruct interns and residents.
11. Communicate closely with families.
12. Conduct pediatric exams and developmental assessments.
13. Manage on-call schedules and emergency responses.

Qualifications

• Previous NICU or Pediatric NICU experience preferred.
• Willingness to precept nursing students.
• Experience in Quality Improvement (QI).
• Knowledge of NICU equipment and procedures.
