Job summary

America's Thrift Stores in Jasper, Alabama is seeking team members for our Shipping and Receiving group. This role supports donor interactions, processes donations at trailer sites, and helps move items to the sales floor.

You will work outdoors in varying weather, lift up to 50 lbs, and contribute to our environmental mission while collaborating with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Interact with donors to accept and process donations at trailer sites.
• Receive newly donated items from our Donations team.
• Sort and ship recyclable items to support sustainability.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in heat, cold and wet weather conditions.
• Unload trailers in a safe and efficient manner.

What Happens in Shipping and Receiving Anyway?

• Interact with donors to accept and process donations at trailer sites in an outdoor setting; provide outstanding service to all donors

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in the heat, the cold and in wet weather conditions
• Unload trailers in a safe and efficient manner
