Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) in Newark, NJ, seeks an Attendance Performance Manager to oversee employee attendance compliance and policy enforcement across the workforce. You will track attendance records, administer the point system, and ensure disciplinary actions align with company policies and legal requirements.

The role partners with HR and leadership to address attendance issues, develop incentive programs, and generate regular metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in operations, workforce management and/or HR
• Proficiency with HRIS, AOD, timekeeping, or workforce management systems
• Strong MS Office and Adobe skills (SharePoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills for attendance files and compliance tracking
• Attention to detail and strong analytical and reporting abilities
• Experience in union environments is preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain accurate employee attendance records (absences, tardiness, leave) in AOD
• Administer attendance point system with timely updates
• Monitor attendance trends and address policy violations with leadership
• Enforce attendance and conduct policies through disciplinary actions
• Document disciplinary actions per policy and laws with HR approval
• Audit attendance records and disciplinary actions for accuracy and consistency
• Ensure FMLA and accommodation requests processed officially with HR
• Code OJI injuries appropriately in the system
• Create attendance tracking methods and generate regular reports
• Provide recommendations to leadership to improve attendance management
• Train supervisors on attendance systems and disciplinary processes
• Collaborate with HR on escalated employee relations issues
