Job summary

Commonwealth Charter Academy in Williamsport, PA is seeking an Attendance, Communication, and Engagement Specialist to implement attendance and engagement processes and support learner participation. The role coordinates with teachers and administrators, communicates requirements to families, evaluates attendance data, and arranges conferences to develop improvement plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years of relevant work experience.
Familiarity with Pennsylvania compulsory school attendance requirements.
Excellent organization and written and oral communications skills.
Customer focused approach.
Ability to travel, including overnight stays as required.
Must reside within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

Participate in planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of attendance requirements.
Communicate attendance requirements to enrolled families.
Evaluate weekly attendance data and respond per protocols.
Contact learners who are noncompliant or at risk of noncompliance.
Schedule and participate in conferences with learners, families and staff.
Identify barriers and seek resources to eliminate challenges.
Develop and communicate attendance improvement plans.
Document and maintain records of all communications and data entries.
Travel to other sites as needed.
