Job summary

Commonwealth Charter Academy is seeking an Attendance, Communication, and Engagement Specialist to support daily attendance and engagement requirements for learners. The role involves coordinating with teachers, administrators, and families to monitor attendance, communicate plans, and implement improvement strategies.

The specialist will travel as needed, conduct conferences and home/community visits, and maintain thorough records in school data systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Must reside within Pennsylvania.
• Must commute to a Family Service Center and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Implement attendance and engagement processes in line with state and school policies.
• Coordinate with teachers and administrators to monitor attendance and engagement.
• Communicate improvement plans to learners and caretakers.
• Schedule and participate in attendance conferences and meetings with families and staff.
• Track compliance and respond according to protocols; conduct home/community visits when needed.
