Idaho National Laboratory in Idaho Falls is seeking a Fitter to join the ATR Maintenance team. You will perform layout, fit-up, fabrication of piping systems and components, and assist with installation in accordance with ASME codes.

The role requires reading blueprints, P&IDs, and isometrics, ensuring precise alignment and welding preparation. This on-site position offers a 4x10 schedule with Fridays off and opportunities for hands-on training and qualification.

Competenze

• Reading blueprints, isometrics, and P&IDs to determine fit-up and material needs.
• Fabricate and install pipe spools, supports, and hangers for new installations and modifications.
• Perform precision layout and field measurements for complex pipe runs to meet tolerances.

Mansioni

• Perform layout, fit-up, and fabrication of piping systems in accordance with engineering drawings and codes.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain piping and tubing systems and components.
• Operate shop equipment and tools to support fabrication and installation tasks.
