Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Millwright Mechanic to support the ATR Maintenance team. You will perform precision installation and alignment of rotating equipment, apply vibration analysis, and maintain hydraulic/pneumatic systems on the ATR Complex.

The role requires reading blueprints and OEM manuals, working in safety programs, and obtaining required radiological and DOE qualifications. The ATR 4x10 schedule includes every Friday off and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school or GED with relevant industrial mechanical experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and OEM manuals.
• Experience with precision tools and vibration analysis.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, and maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes and shafts.
• Perform precision shaft and laser alignment of rotating equipment.
• Mantain lubrication, seals, and bearing assemblies.
• Use vibration monitoring to assess equipment condition.
• Mentor less experienced craftsmen and support safety programs.
• Read schematics, plan work, and estimate man-hours.
