Job summary

M&T Bank is hiring a Technical Engineer for ATM Technology Platforms in Buffalo, NY. You will support, configure, deploy, and maintain vendor-provided ATM software platforms, driving automation and reliability across the ATM network to improve customer experience.

You will collaborate with technology management and cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions, mentor staff, and ensure alignment with risk and regulatory standards in a highly regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Combined minimum of 6 years’ higher education and/or work experience in systems design, management and/or architecture.
• Experience in Technical Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Systems Administration environments.
• Experience supporting, configuring, deploying, and maintaining enterprise software applications and platforms.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with Technology management, senior engineers, and support teams to design, develop, and execute technical solutions.
• Infrastructure review, implementation, and design; create support and architectural documentation and standards.
• Coordinate vendor interactions and resources as needed.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and review proposals and changes.
• Develop automation solutions to support installation, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, application, and platform issues across integrated systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to improve platform reliability, security, and customer experience.
