Job summary

NCR Atleos is hiring a Field Service Technician I in San Diego, CA. You will be the first on-site contact to service ATMs, perform basic troubleshooting, and communicate clearly through our service app. Training provided; no prior ATM experience required beyond a willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues from logs, performing minor repairs, maintaining inventory and reporting hours and miles. A valid driver’s license and strong problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Must reside in the geographic area and be authorized to work in the US.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
• Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Android devices and service apps.

Responsibilities

• Follow Safety and Security Procedures when working on ATMs.
• Complete NCR Atleos specific trainings and certifications on our training website.
• Diagnose problems based on the error logs from the ATM and information provided from our service app using a company provided cell phone.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs on ATMs, both indoors and outdoors.
• Responsible for accurate and prompt reporting of updates and details of the work performed at the ATM, including call closure details.
• Maintain parts inventory and related records.
• Accurately report hours worked and miles driven daily.
