Job summary

DoorDash, Inc. is seeking an Atlassian Administrator to own day-to-day administration and support of our Atlassian suite (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence).

You’ll ensure requests, access, and configurations run smoothly across the business while senior engineers focus on migrations. You will work across time zones with globally distributed teams, contribute to automation, and help apply AI to improve workflows.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on Atlassian administration experience.
• Working knowledge of Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence — including configuration, permissions, and workflow setup.
• Troubleshooting access, permissions, and ticket-routing issues under time pressure.
• Exposure to scripting or automation (Python, YAML, or similar).
• Clear communication, documentation, and ability to manage a queue of concurrent requests.
• Willing to work across time zones with globally distributed teams.
• Excited about applying AI to real business workflows.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management, and Confluence Cloud.
• Create and configure Jira projects and Jira Service Management service desks for different teams.
• Manage Jira and Confluence user access, project permissions, and service-account access.
• Configure request types, forms, fields, workflows, and notifications.
• Troubleshoot issues with Jira tickets, configurations, and access.
• Support Okta-based access, SSO, MFA, and provisioning/deprovisioning.
