Atlanta Regional Continuous Improvement Manager

The Regional Continuous Improvement Manager drives the implementation of the Altium Production System (APS) across several pillars of Operational Excellence: Safety, Quality, Daily Team Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement, and Continuous Skills Development for designated plants. The role involves leading, coaching, and ensuring excellence in productivity while maintaining employee well-being.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Demonstrating leadership and high personal standards.
• Engaging with Regional Operations Managers and VPs on loss elimination activities and planning.
• Supporting regional loss planning processes.
• Communicating effectively with all levels of manufacturing staff, including senior leadership and shop-floor employees.
• Leading meetings, initiatives, and cross-functional teams.
• Building project plans and utilizing computer skills for presentations and data analysis.
• Training plant employees and leadership in APS.
• Creating and driving local loss plans and improvement work.

The minimum requirements for the role are:

• 10-15 years of experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Continuous Improvement principles.
• Manufacturing operations experience, preferably in rigid plastics and continuous flow manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational change skills.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Multi-plant responsibility within the region.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields, ongoing interest in manufacturing and management roles, and skills in data analysis, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.

Physical demands involve standing, walking, manual dexterity, and travel up to 50% within the region.
