SDET/Quality Engineer (Hybrid in Atlanta)

Stratfield Consulting is seeking an SDET/Quality Engineer to join our Software Engineering practice. The ideal candidate will have strong automation testing skills across API, Mobile, UI, and Backend components with practical experience in both mobile and hardware testing.

This is a long-term contract position that will be hybrid in Atlanta. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and testing needs.
• Enhance existing automation frameworks and design new frameworks as required.
• Perform front-end, mobile, API, and backend testing across various components.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Agile testing practices within the team.
• Support lab-based hardware testing when needed.
• Implement observability tools and synthetic monitoring techniques.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in software testing and automation engineering.
• Strong automation testing skills across API, Mobile, UI, and Backend components.
• Practical experience with both mobile and hardware testing.
• Familiarity with observability tools and synthetic monitoring techniques.
• Proven ownership of test strategies and tracking of quality metrics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
