Job Description:

The Regional Continuous Improvement Manager drives the implementation of the Altium Production System (APS) across several pillars of Operational Excellence, including Safety, Quality, Daily Team Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement, and Continuous Skills Development in designated plants. The role involves providing leadership and coaching to achieve excellence in productivity while ensuring the well-being of all employees.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Demonstrate leadership, high standards, and professional ethics.
  2. Engage with Regional Operations Manager and VP on loss elimination activities.
  3. Support regional loss planning and educate all levels of manufacturing staff.
  4. Lead meetings, develop project plans, and utilize computer skills for presentations and data analysis.
  5. Train plant employees and leadership in APS.
  6. Create and drive local loss planning and lead cross-functional teams.

* Create APS Element content with Element Owner and provide feedback on work orders.

Minimum Requirements:

- 10-15 years of practical experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Continuous Improvement principles.

- Manufacturing operations experience preferred, especially in rigid plastics and continuous flow manufacturing.

- Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational change skills.

- Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Multi-plant responsibility experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields such as business, planning, or supply chain.

- Continued interest in manufacturing, continuous improvement, and management roles.

Skills:
  • Data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching abilities.
  • Ability to foster a safe work environment and build trust.
Physical Demands:

Regular standing, sitting, bending, walking, and manual dexterity required. Ability to walk across the plant multiple times per shift.

Travel:

Up to 50% within the region, with occasional outside-region travel.
