Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking an ATL Receiving Supervisor in Lawrenceville, GA to plan, organize and monitor the receiving, storage, and distribution of all items from suppliers and production shops to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.

The role emphasizes leadership of a twelve-person team, safety, process improvements, and maintaining an efficient, well-organized warehouse in a fast-growing operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational school required.
• At least 3 years of supervisory warehouse experience.
• Experience with SAP preferred; LEAN experience preferred.
• Forklift operation proficiency and required certifications.
• Ability to read safety rules and write routine reports.
• Spanish language skills a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay-out and maintain efficient warehouse.
• Inspect conditions, identify issues, and implement cost-saving actions.
• Listen to staff and managers, address safety concerns, and implement action plans.
• Develop process improvements to boost efficiency.
• Identify safety hazards and take corrective action.
• Ensure shipping, picking, receiving align with policy.
• Inspect packaging to prevent damage.
• Supervise up to twelve team members.
• Coach underperforming staff to meet productivity.
• Coordinate inventory and cycle counts with DC Manager.
• Ensure MSDS accompany materials.
• Plan and execute yearly inventories.
• Assist in developing new policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as requested by DC Manager.
