Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor Trainee in Lawrenceville, GA to learn and oversee daily operations in the distribution center, including picking, shipping, receiving, and inventory control. The role emphasizes training, safety, and customer service, with opportunities to develop leadership skills while working in a fast-growing, safety-conscious environment.

Candidates from college or with one to three years of related experience are welcomed; heavy lifting up to 50 lbs is required,

Qualifications

• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and emails.
• Ability to speak before groups of customers or employees.
• Basic math studies including algebra and geometry required.
• Ability to deal with several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Learn and execute daily activities for picking, shipping, receiving, loading, and inventory control.
• Train current and new facility personnel.
• Ensure product/service meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Set productivity goals for warehouse and meet those goals.
• Support continuous improvement and best practices within the facility.
• Ensure safety rules and policies are followed by all employees.
• Purchasing and maintenance of warehouse equipment and supplies.
• Assist Distribution Manager in developing goals and objectives for the Operations.
