Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in Cornea, Complex Cataract, and Anterior Segment Surgery to join our acclaimed team.

This opportunity offers a collaborative, physician-led environment with dedicated outpatient ophthalmology OR space, access to state-of-the-art technology, and a strong referral network within the Northside system.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Fellowship in Cornea, Complex Cataract Surgery and Anterior Segment Surgery.
• Minimum 3-5 years post-residency experience preferred, but not required.
• Georgia medical license (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume cornea, cataract and anterior segment surgeries with a focus on excellent surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Evaluate and manage a wide spectrum of cornea, cataract and anterior segment conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including optometrists, ophthalmic technicians, and surgical support staff.
• Utilize dedicated ophthalmology OR space equipped with the latest surgical technologies.
