Northside Hospital, a nationally recognized leader in patient care and innovation, seeks an ophthalmologist specializing in Cornea, Complex Cataract, and Anterior Segment Surgery to join our dynamic ophthalmology team in Atlanta, GA. MD or DO from an accredited medical school, board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology, and fellowship in Cornea are required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Required Fellowship in Cornea.
• Complex Cataract Surgery and Anterior Segment Surgery Experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years post-residency experience preferred, but not required.
• Georgia medical license (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume cornea, cataract and anterior segment surgeries with a focus on excellent surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Evaluate and manage a wide spectrum of cornea, cataract and anterior segment conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including optometrists, ophthalmic technicians, and surgical support staff.
• Utilize dedicated ophthalmology OR space equipped with the latest surgical technologies.
