Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA, seeks a board-certified/board-eligible ophthalmologist specializing in Cornea, Complex Cataract, and Anterior Segment Surgery to join a collaborative, physician-led ophthalmology team.

The role offers access to state-of-the-art technologies, dedicated outpatient OR space, and a strong referral network within the Northside system in metro Atlanta. Practice location is Sandy Springs, GA.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Fellowship in Cornea, Complex Cataract Surgery and Anterior Segment Surgery.
• Georgia medical license or ability to obtain.
• 3–5 years post-residency experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume cornea, cataract and anterior segment surgeries with a focus on excellent surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Evaluate and manage a wide spectrum of cornea, cataract and anterior segment conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including optometrists, ophthalmic technicians, and surgical support staff.
• Utilize dedicated ophthalmology OR space equipped with the latest surgical technologies.
