Job summary

Learfield seeks a driven General Manager to lead our Sports Properties and serve as the primary liaison to the university's Athletics Department. You will oversee the day-to-day property operations, mentor a small team, and guide sponsorship strategies to grow revenue and engagement on campus.

You will collaborate with university leadership and regional teams to ensure branding, sponsorship activation, and client satisfaction align with Learfield's goals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of sponsorship sales, sports marketing, or related B2B role.
• Experience managing others and a desire to grow as a team leader.
• Strong knowledge of sponsorship strategy, marketing channels, and activation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and external partners.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Demonstrates high integrity and team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between Learfield and university Athletics Department, AD, and staff.
• Oversee multimedia rights agreement execution reflecting university branding.
• Lead the property team with coaching and performance support.
• Achieve revenue goals by selling integrated sponsorship packages across platforms.
• Develop relationships with university contacts, sponsors, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, business plans, and forecasts.
• Represent Learfield in meetings, campus initiatives, and events.
• Promote partnership visibility and university engagement.
• Model a positive, inclusive, team-first culture.
