Job summary

Learfield seeks a driven General Manager to lead Sports Properties and serve as the primary liaison to the university’s Athletics Department. You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage a small team, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to execute the multimedia rights program and sponsorship strategy.

This leadership role focuses on revenue growth, campus engagement, and creating a positive, inclusive culture while aligning Learfield and university goals through collaboration

Qualifications

• 6+ years in sponsorship sales or related B2B role.
• Experience managing others and leading teams.
• Strong understanding of sponsorship strategy and activation across channels.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Learfield and the university Athletics Department.
• Oversee multimedia rights agreement execution aligned with branding and mission.
• Lead the property team with coaching and performance support.
• Achieve revenue goals by selling integrated sponsorship packages across platforms.
• Develop relationships with university contacts, sponsors, and stakeholders to drive value.
• Collaborate with regional and corporate support teams to ensure client satisfaction.
• Develop budgets, business plans, and forecasts for property-level accountability.
• Represent Learfield at meetings, campus initiatives, and local events.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, team-first culture across the organization.
