Job summary

Addison Park District is seeking an Athletics Rental Attendant to set up, conduct, and clean up for athletic events under the supervision of the Athletics Manager. This on-site role coordinates staff and equipment to ensure games and practices run safely, fairly, and on time, representing the park district.

Part-time position with variable hours; requires CPR/AED within 6 months, basic computer skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Bilingual applicants are preferred.

• CPR and AED certified within 6 months of hiring.

Responsibilities

# Athletics Rental AttendantClub Fitness - Addison, IL 60101Start Date 06/30/2026## OverviewSalary Range$16.00 - $16.00 HourlyPosition TypePart Time## Athletics Rental Attendant**Position Summary**Under the direction and supervision of the Athletics Manager, the Athletics Rental Attendant is responsible for setting up, conducting, and cleaning up for athletic events. This position coordinates staff and equipment needs to ensure games/practices are conducted in a safe, fair, and timely fashion. Acts as a representative of the Park District; ensuring events operate according to park district policy.**Work Hours:**Variable hours depending on events. Times split between Athletics Rental Attendants.General athletic rentals times: M-F 5pm-10pm, Sat-Sun 8am – 6pm. Up to 19 hours per week.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Prepares room/facility for event use which includes, but is not limited to, performing set-ups and take-downs, completing required cleanings, and ensuring building is opened and closed before and after the event. This may include locking/unlocking facility doors and disarming/arming alarm systems.* Set up and break down duties may include lowering the basketball hoops, making sure court is ready and safe for play, picking up all garbage from bleachers, bathrooms, and floors, and returning scoreboard controls to designated area.* Interacts effectively and professionally with both members of the public and internal employees for events.* Provides rental information on all rental locations in the Addison Park District.* Responds to all safety and emergency situations following all required protocols and notifying necessary staff.* Arrives 20 minutes prior to rental time to set up for the event/rental.* Monitors field/facility and game progress.
