The City of East Point in Georgia is seeking a capable Recreation Program Manager to plan, coordinate, and supervise athletic programs and facilities. You will manage finances, budgets and requisition processes, and supervise two recreation leaders plus 40–50 volunteers.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, vendor coordination, event planning, and preparation of financial and roster reports. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and experience in recreation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; field in Business/Public Administration, Recreation or related area.
• 1–2 years of experience preferred.
• CPR/AED and CPRP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, direct assignments and review work
• Manage administrative duties using Microsoft Office
• Draft and prepare letters, memos, forms and documents
• Collect and account for program revenue and make bank deposits
• Act as ActiveNetwork System Administrator for Parks & Recreation
• Schedule appointments and meetings
• Approve facility rentals and athletic events
• Prepare monthly finance and roster reports
• Oversee inventory and purchasing of equipment, trophies, and uniforms
• Coordinate training for staff, volunteers, and coaches
