Responsibilities

  • Direct media relations for the Athletics Department.
  • Coordinate all media activities and related publications.
  • Oversee maintenance of the athletics web site focusing on press releases, rosters, bios and statistics.
  • Coordinate and maintain photography archive for all athletics teams.
  • Maintain various records and statistics on teams and athletes.
  • Assist in coordinating interviews with news media; prepare and submit athletic press releases.
  • Maintain a budget and supervise staff; assign staff to cover events.
  • Interview, hire, train, evaluate, and or disciplines subordinate personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with institution, conference and NCAA rules and policies.
