Job summary

USC Marshall School of Business in Huntington, West Virginia is seeking an accounting and operations support staff for the Department of Athletics to manage routine accounting entries, Banner encumbrances, requisitions, reconciliations, and posting.

You will assist with deposits verification, training student and graduate assistants, prepare NCAA and ED reports, monthly internal reporting, contract audits, internal controls, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Accounting and business operations support for the Department of Athletics.
• Process accounting system entries, Banner encumbrances and requisitions.
• Perform account reconciliations and monitor accounts receivable.
• Verify Athletics Ticket Office deposits for posting.
• Assist in training Student Assistants and Graduate Assistants.
• Compile data for NCAA and Department of Education reports and surveys.
• Manage data for monthly internal reporting.
• Conduct game and revenue contract audits and oversight.
• Assist with additional account reconciliations and postings.
• Monitor internal purchase requests and approvals.
• Formulate and uphold business operations policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Other duties as assigned.
