Job summary

East Texas A&M University Athletics is seeking highly motivated and professional Graduate Assistants to support the daily operations of a Division I athletics department.

Graduate Assistants will gain practical experience in intercollegiate athletics while assisting various functional areas including administration, business operations, compliance, student-athlete services, facilities and event management, communications, marketing, development, equipment, sports performance, sports medicine,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and admission into graduate program.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by athletic events.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations of the athletics department or functional area.
• Provide administrative support including correspondence, scheduling, data entry, and filing.
• Assist with planning, organizing, and executing departmental initiatives and events.
• Support home athletic contests and championship events as assigned.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other departmental documents.
