Job summary

Georgetown University seeks a facilities and events manager to oversee indoor and outdoor athletic facilities, events, and operations for 30 teams. The role also manages all university events hosted in athletics facilities.

The ideal candidate will coordinate game-day operations, staff scheduling, and ensure compliance with venue policies while collaborating with students, coaches, administrators, and campus partners. A bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of relevant experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience directly related to athletic events.
• Rules and regulations of sporting events; technical requirements of hosting athletic events, including scoreboards, sound systems, communication systems, game clocks and other event-related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Notifying visiting teams, officials, and group representatives of Georgetown policies, procedures, event logistics, and facility requirements
• Submitting advances and reconciliations for all game day related expenses
• Hiring, training, scheduling and supervising game day and event staff
