Job summary

University of North Texas is seeking a Senior Associate Athletic Director for Facilities, Events, and Capital Projects in Denton. This senior role leads facilities, capital projects and all event operations for Mean Green Athletics.

You will oversee budgeting, staffing, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver first-class facilities and an exceptional gameday experience for fans and recruits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Master's degree in athletics administration, sport management, business, construction management, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for UNT athletic facilities and capital projects.
• Direct game management and event operations for Mean Green Athletics across all sports.
• Lead planning and execution of athletics capital improvement projects from design through completion.
• Develop, monitor and manage facility, operations and construction budgets with campus facilities leadership.
• Oversee maintenance programs, vendor relationships and staff to ensure high standards.
• Partner with marketing, ticketing and fan engagement leadership to deliver elite gameday experiences.
• Represent the department with campus leadership, contractors and external stakeholders.
