Job summary

Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA seeks a Coordinator of Events & Operations to oversee athletics event and game operations for regular season, post-season, and special events on campus. The role partners with coaches, staff, students and external groups, coordinating logistics for fans and participants.

The position is 12 months, non-exempt, on-campus with required night and weekend availability. Reporting to the Director of Operations & Events, it focuses on athletic operations and event

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of related experience.
• Ability to maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Proactive and collaborative work style across groups.
• Excellent organizational and written/oral communication skills.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience in events/operations within collegiate athletics and NCAA rules.

Responsibilities

• Serve as event manager for Division I athletic competition and special events.
• Plan, schedule, supervise, and recap the operations of internal and external events.
• Coordinate ticket operations, equipment, public safety, technology, sports medicine, and marketing logistics.
• Schedule staffing with internal and external constituents via the University scheduling platform.
• Assist senior staff with visiting team guides and practice scheduling; update Emergency Action Plan.
