Long Island University is seeking a qualified LIU student to assist with the setup, execution and breakdown of athletic events. The role involves preparing venues, scorer's tables, benches, signage and equipment, and supporting hospitality areas.
The position is part-time with a flexible schedule and a maximum of 17 hours per week, starting 08/01/2026 and ending 06/30/2027, to be evaluated by Game Operations staff.

Assist with the setup, execution and breakdown of athletic events. Responsibilities include preparing competition venues by setting up scorer's tables, team benches, chairs, signage, game equipment, water stations, and hospitality areas; supporting game -day operations during events.
Education Requirements: LIU student enrolled in an active degree program.
Period of Employment: Begin: 08/01/2026 End: 06/30/2027
Evaluation procedures and schedules: Performance will be evaluated by the Game Operations staff based on attendance, punctuality, reliability, professionalism, initiative, teamwork, and successful completion of assigned game-day responsibilities. This position works a flexible schedule based on athletic event needs, with a maximum of 17 hours per week.
