Job summary

Long Island University’s Athletic Communications team is seeking a student assistant to support media relations and social media for athletic programs. You will help with communications-related game-day operations, graphic design, photography, and videography.

The role includes writing/editing tasks and stat input during games, under supervision by the athletics communications staff. This is a part-time, on-site position in New York for eligible LIU students with Work Study funding.

Qualifications

• LIU student enrolled in an active degree program.
• Must have Federal Work Study Funding.

Responsibilities

• Support media relations and social media for athletic programs.
• Assist with game-day communications operations and needs.
• Create graphics and edit photos/videos for posts.
• Contribute written content and editorial items.
• Input statistics and call relevant game data.
