Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Athletic Trainer to float among schools around the South Shore and south of Boston. You will provide services to student-athletes under the direction of the program head, following state athletic training practices.

The role includes injury care, rehabilitation design, and coverage for contests, with an onsite/hybrid work arrangement and a 40-hour workweek. Massachusetts driver’s license and BLS/BOC credentials preferred.

Qualifications

Experience in athletic training and mentoring students.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt actions in relation to others' actions.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Cares for athletic injuries.
Design and implement injury rehabilitation programs.
Formulates assessments and executes plans of action to aid student-athletes' health needs and safe return to sport.
Provide athletic training coverage for home/hosted contests per CCCAA bylaws.
Administer Emergency Care and First Aid.
Creates and regularly updates an injury report.
Ensures proper equipment use and fitting (helmets, shoulder pads, braces, mouthpieces; tape/wraps).
Maintain documents, supplies and clinic environment for efficient operation.
