Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Athletic Trainer to support student athletes under the direction of program heads. You will care for athletic injuries, design rehab plans, and assess health needs to guide safe returns to sport.

Responsibilities include providing on-site athletic training coverage for contests, administering first aid, updating injury reports, and ensuring proper equipment fitting. A valid MA state license and ATC are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology or related field; Master's in related field preferred.
• Athletic Trainer license (State) and ATC certification preferred.
• Experience in athletic training or sports medicine desirable.

Responsibilities

• Cares for athletic injuries.
• Design and implement injury rehabilitation programs.
• Formulates assessments and action plans to aid student-athletes' health and determine safe return to sport.
• Provide athletic training coverage for home/hosted contests per CCCAA bylaws.
• Administer emergency care and first aid.
• Create and update injury reports regularly.
• Ensure proper equipment use and fitting (helmets, pads, braces, mouthpieces).
• Maintain documents, supplies and clinic environment for efficiency.
