Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking an Outreach Athletic Trainer to provide services to student athletes under the direction of the program head. The role is onsite at Salem High School, with duties during practices and contests, injuries care, rehab planning, and emergency response.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Kinesiology (Master's preferred), ATC certification, and a valid MA driver's license. Weekend hours and driving to events may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology required.
• Master’s Degree related field preferred.
• Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and MA license required.
• Experience as athletic trainer 0–1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cares for athletic injuries.
• Design and implement injury rehabilitation programs.
• Formulates assessments and plans of action for student-athletes’ health needs and safe return to sport participation.
• Provide athletic training coverage for home/hosted contests as per CCCAA bylaws.
• Administer Emergency Care and First Aid.
• Create and regularly update an injury report.
• Ensure proper equipment use and fitting such as helmets and pads, and the use of tape or wraps.
• Maintain documents and the clinic environment for effective operation.
