Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Athletic Trainer to support student athletes with high-quality care, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and safe return-to-play guidance. This is a mission-driven role within a respected healthcare system.

Location includes Peabody, Beverly, Danvers, and Salem, NH with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and some flexibility for events and program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field required; master's preferred.
• State Athletic Trainer license required.
• Class D Driver's License preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification preferred.
• Certified Athletic Trainer credential preferred.
• Previous experience as an Athletic Trainer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training care for student athletes in accordance with applicable state athletic training practices.
• Evaluate athletic injuries and develop plans of care.
• Design and implement injury rehabilitation programs to support recovery and performance.
• Assess athlete readiness and determine safe return-to-play participation.
• Provide athletic training coverage for home and hosted contests.
• Administer emergency care and first aid when needed.
• Create and update injury reports and related documentation.
• Ensure proper use and fit of athletic equipment and gear.
• Maintain supplies and the training environment for clinic operations.
