Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Athletic Trainer to support student athletes with high-quality care, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and safe return-to-play guidance. This is a mission-driven role within a respected healthcare system committed to excellence, collaboration, and compassionate care.

Locations include Peabody, Danvers, Beverly, and Salem, NH, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 40 hours per week onsite at 4 Centennial Drive.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or a related field required; master’s degree preferred.
  • State Athletic Trainer license required; Massachusetts driver’s license preferred.
  • Basic Life Support certification preferred; Certified Athletic Trainer credential preferred.
  • Previous athletic trainer experience and proficiency with MS Office are valued.
  • Strong attention to detail, planning, organization, and customer service are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide athletic training care for student athletes under applicable state practices.
  • Evaluate injuries and develop plans of care.
  • Design injury rehabilitation programs to support recovery and performance.
  • Assess readiness and determine safe return-to-play participation.
  • Provide coverage for home and hosted contests as required.
  • Administer emergency care and first aid when needed.
  • Create and maintain injury reports and related documentation.
  • Maintain proper use and fit of athletic equipment.
