Mass General Brigham Medical Group Northern Massachusetts, Inc. seeks an Athletic Trainer to support student athletes with injury prevention, rehabilitation, and safe return-to-play guidance.

Responsibilities include clinical care, event coverage, EMS, and collaboration with coaches, families, and healthcare professionals. Locations include Peabody, Danvers, Beverly, and Salem NH with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field required.
• State Athletic Trainer license required.
• Driver's license preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.
• NATA Certified Athletic Trainer preferred.
• Previous Athletic Trainer experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, planning, organization, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training care for student athletes in accordance with applicable state athletic training practices.
• Evaluate athletic injuries and develop appropriate plans of care.
• Design and implement injury rehabilitation programs that support recovery and performance.
• Assess athlete readiness and help determine safe return-to-play participation.
• Provide athletic training coverage for home and hosted contests as described by applicable program or association guidelines.
• Administer emergency care and first aid when needed.
• Create, maintain, and regularly update injury reports and related documentation.
• Ensure proper use and fit of athletic equipment, including helmets, shoulder pads, braces, mouthpieces, tape, and wraps.
• Maintain supplies, documentation, and the training environment to support effective and efficient clinic operations.
