Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline.
• Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) certification
• Licensed as an Athletic Trainer by the North Carolina Board or license eligible; must obtain license within 6 months of hire.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• One (1) year of experience as an athletic trainer preferred.

Aufgaben

• Casting and patient care, including splints and DME; suture removal and vital signs when needed.
• Answering patient clinical calls and disability paperwork.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and therapeutic exercise; effective communication with patients and staff.
• Update patient history and charts; order appropriate tests and perform thorough examinations with documentation.
