Job summary

Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center in Fairlawn, OH seeks an athletic trainer to join our outpatient orthopedic team. You will provide clinical and administrative support, perform patient intake, document in EMR, assist with procedures, and help educate patients on DME and insurance authorizations.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Athletic Training (Master's preferred), 3+ years' experience in orthopedics/sport medicine, Ohio AT license, BOC (preferred) and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field is required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Ohio Athletic Trainer License required; BOC certification preferred; BLS certification required.
• 3+ years of athletic training or sports medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support in an outpatient orthopedic practice.
• Perform patient intake, obtain vitals, document in the EMR, and assist providers with procedures.
• Remove sutures/staples, apply dressings, prepare injections, and respond to patient calls per protocol.
• Fit and educate patients on durable medical equipment (DME) and coordinate insurance authorizations.
• Ensure accurate chart preparation, documentation, and charge capture.
