Job summary

City of Auburn (AL) is seeking a Recreation Leader- Athletics within the Parks and Recreation Department to help coordinate and assist athletic activities. Reports to the League Sports Coordinator and supports tournament play, leagues, clinics, and related events.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience, valid driver’s license, and knowledge of safety standards. This is a temporary part-time role with a focus on professional presentation of activities and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• One (1) to three (3) years’ experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist with athletic activities within the Parks and Recreation Department.
• Enforce safety standards and guidelines during activities.
• Assist with tournaments, leagues, clinics, or related recreation activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
