Job summary

American University in Washington, DC is seeking an Athletic Operations Assistant (Student) to support game-day and event operations for AU competitions and special events. The student position is part-time, 10–20 hours per week, at $18.40 per hour. You will assist with setup and tear-down, facility preparation, equipment and seating needs, and provide on-site support during events.

This role is available only to enrolled American University students. Prior work-study eligibility may apply.

Qualifications

• Assist with game-day and event operations, including setup, preparation, and support during competitions and special events.
• Set up and tear down athletic facilities for games, practices, meetings, camps, clinics, and other events.
• Assist with competition facility preparation, including equipment, signage, seating, tables, and other event needs.
• Provide support during home athletic competitions and other events as assigned.
• Perform other facility and event operations duties as assigned.
